Our team has now expanded to include not one, not two, but six Functional Safety Engineers, including:

What is a Functional Safety Engineer?

Functional Safety Engineers play an essential role in manufacturing industries, ensuring that manufacturing facilities are risk assessed, designed, verified, implemented, validated and maintained to minimize risks to operation staff.

Their responsibilities include:

• Risk Assessment: Identifying potential hazards and assessing the level of risk associated with them.
• Safety Analysis: Conducting in-depth safety analyses to determine the necessary safety measures.
• Safety Implementation: Collaborating with design and development teams to integrate safety measures into the system or product.
• Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive records of safety requirements, analyses and implementation.
• Testing and Validation: Conducting rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure that safety requirements are met.
