An exciting opportunity for our employee, Ross Umbers and his son arose earlier this year. As captain of the under 16’s Southern Stars Cricket team Ross’s son was invited – along with his team and their parents – to represent Geelong in the international under 16’s cricket event in Sri Lanka.
While it was estimated to be a group of around 15 making the trip they were surprised with overwhelming support by the team community which turned out a group of 74 strong! We are so pleased by the fantastic level of support that the parents displayed.
